Rent, Utility and Furniture Assistance
Call 319-365-5091 to set up an appointment to apply for rent or utility assistance. Assistance is done on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For rent assistance you must bring in a paper copy of a signed lease that has your name and the landlords name on it; for utility assistance please bring a copy of your most recent bill. Eligibility for rent and utility assistance is once every 6 months.
Clothing and Houseware Vouchers Program
To get help with clothing you must bring a medical card, Iowa ID or social security card. Please call us at 319-365-5091 to schedule an appointment. Clothing vouchers are done on
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays. Eligibility is once every 3 months. To get help with housewares call 319-365-5091 to set up an appointment. Eligibility is once a year.
