Rent, Utility and Furniture Assistance
We accept applications for utility, furniture and rent assistance on
Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm, for rent and furniture assistance you must bring in a paper copy of a signed lease that has your name and the landlords name on it; for utility assistance please bring a copy of your most recent bill. Eligibility for rent and utility assistance is once every 6 months.
Furniture eligibility is once a year.
Clothing and Housewares Voucher Program
To get help with clothing you must bring a medical card or an Iowa ID, or social security card. You can apply for a clothing voucher from
9:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Eligibility is once every 3 months. For housewares you must bring in an Iowa ID. You can apply for a voucher from 9:00am to 1:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Eligibility is once every 6 months.
